M1 REPAIR DAILY #39 – Bridge deck concreting

The rebuilding and reconstruction of bridges and flyovers is ongoing.

Elements of the new overpasses have already been installed in several locations. As a result, the formwork and concrete slab concreting are being carried out by night and day.

In today’s post, we have pictures of the work on the new agricultural and wildlife crossing at Nagyegyháza, where 510 cubic metres of concrete were used. The weight of the track slab is now over 1300 tonnes!

The section to be widened, between the M0 and the Concó rest area, is 78 km long, with 72 bridges and overpasses to be rebuilt or reconstructed to accommodate the new wider track.

In addition to the bridge construction, in recent weeks our colleagues have carried out nearly half a hundred different work processes at more than 60 sites on the M0 between Tatabánya and Komárom – Concó.
