With regard to the express road sections (http://mkif.hu/terkep/) operated by MKIF Zrt., the public road management and operating status of Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt. pursuant to Section 33(1)(ba) of the Road Traffic Act, and at the same time its asset management rights, ceased at 24:00 on 31 August 2022.

MKIF Hungarian Concession Infrastructure Development Plc. (2040 Budaörs, Akron utca 2, Hungary) performs the road management and operation tasks on the express roads under the Concession Contract between the Hungarian State and the successful bidders as of 01 September 2022 00:00 on the basis of the procurement procedure on “The development and reconstruction of the express road network, as well as the operation and maintenance tasks under a concession contract”, and this Company has become the holder of the operating right pursuant to Section 12(3a) and (3b) of Act CXCVI of 2011 on National Property and Section 6 of Government Decree 338/2022 (XII.7.), and its declaration is also made in this capacity.
