A pre-commissioning trial run is currently underway on this section, during which a disaster management exercise was carried out.

The simulated situation involved a collision between a van and a tanker carrying diesel oil in one of the tunnel passages. Several people were injured and some were trapped inside their vehicles. Diesel oil was leaking from a truck carrying a dangerous substance.

The exercise was successful.
