Due to maintenance work mandatory every six month, we will close one passage of the Bécsi-dombi tunnel on two days.

Planned maintenance:

• On 07.04.2025 (Monday) between 06:00 and 24:00 tunnel “B” tunnel, i.e. the side towards Győr will be affected (tunnel “B” will be completely closed, traffic in tunnel “A” follows normal traffic order),
• On 09.04.2025 (Wednesday) between 06:00 and 24:00 tunnel “A” tunnel, i.e. the side towards the Austrian border will be affected (tunnel “A” will be completely closed, traffic in tunnel “B” follows normal traffic order),

During this maintenance, while the tunnel is closed, we perform a wide range of tasks, including the washing of the tunnel walls, as well as the inspection and maintenance of the ventilation, electrical and lighting systems.

It is important to note that during the maintenance work only one of the two tunnel passages will be closed at a time, while traffic will continue as usual in the other tunnel passage.
