As we reported earlier, the new temporary traffic regime, the so-called 2+1+1 diversion between the M0 and Tatabánya-Ováros, was in place by the end of the week.
This type of diversion already allows for embankment widening works on the Budapest side of the slip road.
A temporary track structure will be built on these embankments, so during the dismantling and actual rebuilding of the Hegyeshalom side, traffic will also run on the Budapest side of the 2-2 lane line towards the capital and Győr.
Importantly, the new temporary traffic order is not scheduled to be completed until mid-November, while traffic diversion works are expected to be completed before then. On the sections between Tatabánya Óváros-Tatabánya Újváros and the Komárom-Concó rest area, lane closures are still in place.
Please pay attention to the signs at the diversions and respect the speed limit of 80km/h in the diversion!
VERY IMPORTANT!!!
For those driving in the shifted lane to the border side, the first available exit will be the M1-M0 junction, so junctions, rest stops and service stations between km 54 and km 19 will not be accessible from the shifted lane!
Rest areas, interchanges and petrol stations will be accessible in the uninterchanged lane!
In case of technical or any other problems in the shift lane, you can use the emergency stopping bays every 2 kilometres.
No new intersections or rest areas will be closed on the capitalbound side, in addition to the existing restrictions.

We will provide 2×2 lanes for road users throughout the extension. So there will also be 2-2 lanes in the direction of Győr and Budapest.
Cars and trucks can use the track all the time!
Thank you for your patience, we wish you accident-free driving!
