During the preparatory works for the M1 extension, temporary dirt roads were constructed outside the track.

The first so-called “service road”, a 7-kilometre stretch between Szárliget and the Harkályos rest area, was completed.

These roads will help us to clear the motorway section of construction traffic wherever and whenever possible during the construction and development phase, and to allow our colleagues to reach the work sites as quickly as possible.

We are getting closer and closer to the time when the actual extension work on the main line can start.
