In parallel with the widening of the Budapest-Tatabánya section, earthworks are also underway in the Komárom area in preparation for the widening of the line.

The diversion between km 84 and km 97 is a mirror image of the other traffic pattern: traffic heading towards Győr / the border is diverted to the inner lane of the Budapest side.

On this section, widening will start on the side of the road leading to Győr. In the later stages of the development, this side of the line will be used for 2×2 traffic while the complete demolition and reconstruction of the side towards the capital is underway.

The Concó (Ács/Bábolna) rest area and junction is not accessible from the diverted lane!
