The new temporary traffic regime, the so-called 2+1+1 diversion between the Tatabánya Óváros and Tatabánya Centrum junctions has been established.

This type of diversion already allows for embankment widening works on the Budapest side of the slip road.

A temporary track structure will be built on these embankments, so during the dismantling and actual rebuilding of the Hegyeshalom side, traffic will also run on the Budapest side of the 2-2 lane line towards the capital and Győr.

Please pay attention to the signs at the diversions and respect the speed limit of 80km/h in the diversion!

VERY IMPORTANT!!!

If you are driving in the shifted lane to the border side, the first available exit will be the M1-M0 junction, so the junctions, rest stops and service stations between km 61 and km 19 are not accessible from the shifted lane!

Our colleagues are constantly working on additional traffic engineering solutions to ensure safe traffic.

• Drivers coming from Hegyeshalom can choose the diverted lane before the Tatabánya-Centrum junction, from which they will only be able to return before the M1-M0 junction at km 19.

• If you are driving up the M1 towards Budapest at the Tatabánya-Centrum junction, you can enter the shifted lane at the exit at junction 56, and you can return to the M1-M0 at junction 19.

• For those using the Tatabánya Óváros junction to Budapest, only the uninterrupted lane and the junctions and rest areas are available until km 19.

Rest areas, interchanges and petrol stations will be accessible in the uninterchanged lane!

In case of technical or any other problems in the shift lane, you can use the emergency stopping bays every 2 kilometres.

On the capitalbound side, no new intersection or rest area will be closed, in addition to the existing restrictions (Harkályos rest area).
