A drop of blood and 35 seconds – that is all a tiny life can depend on. More babies may survive from today!
Many children are born premature, which can imply complications.
Since 1989, the Peter Cerny Foundation for the Treatment of Sick Premature Babies has been operating its 0-24 premature baby ambulance and transport ambulance service, which has been called out to 92,262 cases.
There were 19,942 cases where the baby needed ventilatory support. For premature babies who need ventilators, it is vital that accurate respirator settings are used to avoid damage to the lungs and nervous system.
That is why we were delighted to hand over the EPOC device, which allows them to control their treatment in the same way as if they were in a neonatal intensive care unit.
Thank you for your tireless work!
The purchase of the equipment was supported by MKIF Zrt. through the Pro Filii Foundation.
