In previous posts, we have reported on the work being carried out in the inner divide, including the piling of bridges, the replacement and renovation of drainage culverts and the construction of service crossings.

The widening of the inner lane on the Győr side is currently underway alongside the inner barrier. This is necessary and important in order to allow for the new temporary traffic regime, the so-called 2+1+1 diversion, which will be introduced in the next phase of the extension.

We have launched a dedicated website on the M1 extension to provide credible and fast information.

In addition to the Hungarian language version, 12 other languages are also available to provide targeted and up-to-date information on the M1: possible junction closures, rest area restrictions and the current traffic order are also shown on the map, as well as emergency stopping points.

We will provide 2×2 lanes for road users throughout the extension. So there will also be 2-2 lanes in the direction of Győr and Budapest.
