In preparation for the widening of the M1 motorway, emergency bays will be continuously created every 2-3 kilometres.

The aim is to be able to leave the lanes as quickly as possible and wait for help outside the barrier in case of technical or any other problems during the extension.

In addition to the bays, a truck rescue service will also be on standby at the engineering sites involved in the extension, from 0 to 24 hours, to ensure that the track can be freed in the shortest possible time in the event of a technical failure or accident.
