After the Austrian authorities opened another lane, the queue of backed-up lorries was reduced to less than 15 km at Hegyeshalom.

The queue of waiting lorries at Hegyeshalom is constantly growing
The Austrian authorities have set up a disinfection point at the Hegyeshalom border crossing station, causing a 24 kilometre long queue of waiting lorries on the M1.
If you are heading to Austria, please make sure to plan your trip accordingly!
The queue of waiting trucks on the exit side of the M15 motorway at Rajka towards Slovakia is also growing, and has already exceeded 5 kilometres. Here, car traffic is still moving smoothly.
