This is the eighth year that the Safety Week is being organised in our country (16-22 September 2024).

It is never too early to start learning about road safety, as today’s children are the road users of tomorrow.

Children should be introduced to road culture and road safety as early as possible, so that by the time they become active drivers, a responsible and civilized driving style that treats other road users as equal partners is already ingrained in them.

That’s why we have once again joined forces with Accident Prevention and MiniPolis. We welcomed the children at our stands in the playhouse, where they first had to take a theoretical road safety test and then had the chance to test their “driving skills” in a real car equipped with unique technology in different traffic situations.

They were then able to learn not only about the work carried out by highway engineers, about road maintenance and road closures, but also became responsible and conscious little road users thanks to the road safety quiz.

As part of the Safety Week, on Thursday you could get a personal insight into the everyday life of our engineering team in Lakitelek.
